Hello, my name is Deb Clark
I had my first dance lesson in February of 1999.  Since music has always been an important part of my life, I thought dancing would take me to the next level of appreciation.  I took a community education class to get an idea of different dance styles.  That summer at the Minnesota State Fair, I witnessed one of our local bands, J.J.'s Zydeco Paydirt.  Wow.  How amazingly different.  Shortly thereafter, Geno Delafose made a visit to the Medina Ballroom.  I was hooked.  I started taking all the lessons and went to all the dances.  My first trip to Louisiana was in September of 2002 for the Festivals Acadien.  Several trips have followed. Each brings a new appreciation of the music and culture.
